The faculty members are actively involved in Research activities. Research, Consultancy and Extension:

Dr. S. Aleemulla  is working on minor research project funded by UGC XI plan.  Title of the project – Adil Shai Daur main Ilmi-o-Adbi Khidmat. (outlay of Rs.1,20,000). He Worked as guest faculty at the Dept of Studies of Urdu, Karnataka State Women University, Bijapur.  He Guided the M. Phil. students and was referee for M. Phil. students. He has published a magazine “Bazme-Raftagan”.

Departmental library has  about 105 books.

Personal library: Dr. M. M. Inamdar is having 2200 books in his own library. He procured newspapers and magazines. Prof. S. S. Doulatkoti is having 1100 books in his own library. He procured newspapers and magazines.

Curriculum Aspect : Curriculum Designing and  Revision of Syllabus

Members of staff have actively participated in framing and revision of semester syllabus of Karnataka University, Dharwad and worked as BOS Members. The faculty are BOS Members and  have framed syllabus of Urdu Rani Channamma University, Belagavi in the month of May-2011. Members of faculty have actively participate in University Examination work like paper setting, evaluators, external senior supervisors, squad chairman and members. Department is also involved in  arranging Remedial classes for weak students,  Enrichment classes for advanced learners,Bridge course for newly admitted students,  BOE members of Lingraj Autonomous college Belgavil

Plan of action for next five years: To apply for more MRPs, apply for Major Research Projects, to organize national level seminar and to conduct classes for NET and SLET Examinations.
