Second Prize in Drama at District Youth Festival
Our NSS Volunteers secured 2nd prize in Drama competition entitled “Problems of Farmers” under the mentorship of NSS Programme Officer Dr Ruqqia R H today at Akkamahadevi Women’s University Vijayapur at the District Youth Festival organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra in collaboration with Akkamahadevi Women’s University Vijayapur today the 29th December 2020. Volunteers-Jabbar ahamad Badeghar, Hasanpatel Doddamani, Md.Ziya Aralimatti, Sageer Ahmed Bagwan, Afrid Tashewale, Aftab Turki were the participants.

Ms. Rizwana Jamadar (B.Com III Semester) was declared winner in the District Youth Parliament Virtual Speech Competition organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Gulbarga cluster region on 28th December 2020. Her topic was ‘Zero budget natural farming is boon for farmers’.

International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 26-06-2020
The “International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking” was organized on 26-06-2020 at Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College & PG Studies in English, Vijaypur-586104. On this occasion Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff were actively participated by maintaining social distance. On this occasion the Principal Dr. A. N. Chattarki of our college addressed to the gathering and advised our youth to stay away from drug and build a strong and healthy nation.

National level online paper presentation for UG/PG students on “COVID-19 Crisis and its impact on Socio-Economic and educational activities“ was organised by IQAC initiative Dept. of Statistics and Economics on 15th may 2020
Sixty UG/PG students of various places of different streams i e Arts, Com, Sci, Management, and Engineering were participated in this event and presented a paper on following sub themes :
1) Covid 19- its impact on education
2) Covid 19- its impact on social life
3) Covid 19- its impact on economy
4) ) Covid 19- its impact on environment
4) Covid 19- its impact on health due to lockdown
Dr. S.S.Peerzade and Dr. S K Kazi were the jury members . Smt. S. M. Hanchinal , HOD of Statistics, Prof SIS Hamid HOD of Economics, Prof. S. M. Hattarkihal were the membes of organising committee. The winners of the paper presentation were:
I Prize- Kamakshi Naik B. Sc. VI Sem, Raja Lakhamagouda Sci Institute Belgavi.
II Prize- Tanu Tanwar M. Com. VI Sem, Chaudary Bansilal Univ. Haryana
III Prize- Vasundara L Kadekodi- M. Sc. II Sem, Karnataka Univ. Dharwad.
Cash prizes of Rs. 3000/- , Rs. 2000/- and Rs.1000/- given to winners of the paper presentation respectively.

INAUGURATION OF DEBATING UNION & GYMKHANA ACTIVITIES 2019-20
On 27-07-2019 our college inaugurated Debating Union and Gymkhana activities for academic year 2019-20.Prof. ABDULRAB USTAD, Chairman, Department of Urdu, Gulbarga university Kalbubargi was the Chief guest.The function was presided by the Principal Dr.Z.S.Qureshi. All Staff members and students were presented.
