Department of Statistics was organised Special lecture on “Importance of Statistics in Information Technology” on 18th June. 2022 at 12 pm .
To initiate the occasion Miss Iramsaba Mulla recited some verses of holy Quran.. HOD of Statistics Smt. S. M. Hanchinal Welcomed & introduced the guests and explained the purpose of the programme.
Vinay Kulkarni (old student of our college), Full Stake Developer, was deliver a special lecture on “Importance of Statistics in Information Technology” and shared his experience in IT field and guide the students to prepare themselves to develop carrier in the field of Information Technology.

Anjuman-e-Islam’s Anjuman Arts Science & Commerce College Vijayapur and Karnataka State Hajj Committee-Bangalore jointly organised a One Day Training for Hajj pilgrims from Bijapur and Bagalkot Districts on 23rd May 2022. More than 214 intending pilgrims participated and gained firsthand knowledge of performing Hajj.
The event was conducted under the Holy Presence and tutelage of Reverend Janab Hazrat Syed Shah Mehmood Peeran Peerzade Hussaini Hashmi Sahab-President, Anjuman-E-Islam and Chairman Governing Council, Bijapur.
Dr. Sayed Shah Murtuza Hussaini Hashmi Sajjada Nasheen Dargah Hashimpeer RH Bijapur in his Presidential Address highlighted the significance of performing Hajj-one of the Five Pillars of Islam. He opined that, when Muslims intend to perform Hajj, they are often reminded that the opportunity of pilgrimage is actually an invitation from Allah SWT to His house – the Holy Kaaba. He said, whoever performs Hajj with a pure heart return home free from their lifelong sins. Apart from symbolizing positivity and kindness, Hajj being a re-enactment of obedience and sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to Allah SWT is the highest form of honour earned by a Muslim.
Hazrat Allama Maulana Waqar Azizi from Bombay imparted training to the Hajj pilgrims in particular and all minute details were communicated. The enthusiastic pilgrims had an active interaction where all their doubts were cleared.
Syed Zainul Abideen Peerzade Hussaini Hashmi Vice President Anjuman-E-Islam’s proposed the Vote of thanks by expressing a sense of heartfelt gratitude to each and every dignitary who graced the holy event with their cordial presence.

Manjula and group sang Naad Geethe and the programme concluded by National Anthem.
Alumni/ parents committee of Anjuman, Arts, science and commerce college and P.G.Studies in English, Vijaypur has organised Alumni/Parents meeting on Saturday that is on 26 Feb 2022 at college campus.Where, Prof.M.A.Peeran, chairman of this committee has welcomed and introduced to invitees and also explained the Aims and Objectives of this Association. Further, highlighted the role of alumni in development of institution.Dr.A.N.Chatterki, principal and President of this meeting told about college development in few years.Invitees had presented their views about college.Prof.Shabbir mujawar initiated the meeting with the recitation of holy Quran. prof.Gous pitali hosted the program. Dr.S.J.Jahagirdar proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Salim Desai, Dr. Aleemullah Husaini, prof. A.M.Siddiqui, prof.Arif inamdar, prof. NSS volunteers Miss Afreen Kazi and Miss Faranaaz Sangapur of our college grabbed the 1st and 2nd prize respectively at the District Level Youth Parliament for Gulbarga Cluster region dated 19th February 2022 held at NYK office Gulbarga under the guidance of NSS Program Officer Dr Ruqqia Hashmi. Both volunteers will be representing for the State Level Youth Parliament. Kudos to the winners.

Chatarki , Principal and President of the Inaugural function appreciated efforts of the team that organised Certificate Course & address the participants about the importance of certificate courses & data analysis in the field of research. Resource Person Raj Ahmad Jumanl HOD of Computer Science, explained about the importance of R- Programming in data analysis. Inaugural session was concluded with vote of thanks by Programme convenor, Mr. Usman Solkar.
Course was conducted from 5th feb 2022 to 20th feb 2022( daily two hours) Students learned application of basic statistical concepts using R-Studio They have studied computation of Mean, Medan and mode, graphical and diagrammatic representation, Basic Probability distributions i e. Plotting binomial, Poisson and Normal distributions and simple mathematical operations using R.
20 Students participated in this Certificate Course. The Course was ended with formal Valedictory function with great successful.
Miss Rizwana Jamadar NSS Volunteer received 1st prize at Block Level District Youth Parliament Competition under National Youth Festival 2021 organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Kalaburgi held on 28th December 2020. Nehru Yuva Kendra Vijayapur organised District Youth Convention at BLDEA’s V P Dr PG Halakatti College of Engineering & TechnologyCollege in Bijapur, on 4th February 2022 where Miss Rizwana Jamadar was felicitated along with NSS Program Officer Dr Ruqqia Hashmi.
Department of Kannada has celebrated the 126th Birth anniversary of a renowned scholar and poet, Jnanpith Awardee Dr.Da Ra Bendre. Dr. Ballari Retired Prof of Kannada delivered a special talk on the Life and Literary Contribution of Dr.Bendre. Prof Wajid Peerzade IQAC Coordinator of our college also expressed his views. The function was presided over by Dr.A.N Chattarki Principal of our College. The program was inaugurated with the Recitation of the Holy Quran. Prof Shameed Walikar welcomed and introduced chief guests, Miss Sneha hosted the function other faculty members like Prof.Saddamhusain Mujawar and Prof.N. H. Jainapur were attended.
