5. Covid 19- its impact on health due to lockdown
Dr. S.S.Peerzade and Dr. S K Kazi were the jury members. Smt. S. M. Hanchinal , HOD of Statistics, Prof SIS Hamid HOD of Economics, Prof. S. M. Hattarkihal were the members of organizing committee. The winners of the paper presentation were.
I Prize- Kamakshi Naik B. Sc. VI Sem, Raja Lakhamagouda Sci Institute Belgavi.
II Prize- Tanu Tanwar M. Com. VI Sem, Chaudary Bansilal Univ. Haryana
III Prize- Vasundara L Kadekodi- M. Sc. II Sem, Karnataka Univ. Dharwad.
Cash prizes of Rs. 3000/- , Rs. 2000/- and Rs.1000/- given to winners of the paper presentation respectively.

National Quiz Series on Economics-2020
Department of Economics conducted “National Quiz Series on Economics-2020” during 21st July 2020 to 10th August 2020, with the objective of to keep students engage & touch with Subject of Economics during this pandemic called Covid-19. In this quiz series seven quiz programs were conducted on various topics of economics for the students of UG/PG & Research Scholars, in this series responses were come from all the states of India. This was done with the effort of Mr. S. M. Hattarakihal Organizing Secretary, Prof. SIS Hamidrozindar Head of Dept. of Economics, Dr. M. A. Gadyal IQAC Co-ordinator and our beloved Principal Dr. A. N. Chattarki.
