“Self Defence Certificate Course”

In order to combat the burgeoning crimes against women in society,  A “Self Defence Certificate Course” was conducted under the able guidance of NSS Program Officer Dr(Smt)Ruqqia from 3rd February 2019 to 9th February 2019 with an aim to make the girls fearless and walk around freely.  Ms.Indra- Karate Master was the trainer who equipped the girls with techniques of self defence. Self defence is empowering the girls, it teaches  awareness and prevention, this is something that will actually make a monumental, positive change in the lives of the students. Around 35 girl students underwent the training with full dedication.

“IQAC Workshop Meeting”

IQAC Director Prof. Sayed Wajid Peerzade adressing the staff regarding preparation for One Day National Workshop on New Dimensions in NAAC Assessment. The Workshop is scheduled on 21st Feb, 2019.

“VOTING AWARENESS RALLY on BICYCLES”

            The volunteers of Anjuman Degree College, NSS Units organized a “Voter’s Awareness Bicycle Rally” on 06^th Feb 2019. The awareness rally was flagged off by Principal Smt. S. G. Mahaldar. The route of the rally commenced from the ANJUMAN DEGREE COLLEGE , Badi Kaman, Hakeem Chowk, Gol Gumbaz, Stadium, Gandhi Chowk, Siddeshwar Temple, S.S. Road, B.L.D.E Medical College Road, Water Tank, Shivaji Circle, Taj Baudi, Abdul Razak Dargah, Bus Stand and finished  at Anjuman Degree College Campus, to spread awareness about the Right to Vote among the citizens of Vijayapur City. Vice President Janab Syed Zainul Abideen Peerzade Al Hashmi of Anjuman E Islam’s, Vijayapur, appreciated the initiative taken out by the NSS Units. NSS Programme Officers Prof.M.A.Peeran, Dr. Smt. Ruqqia, other faculty members, administrative staff and students were present on the occassion.

“Dept of Commerce Industrial Trip”

Dept of Commerce Industrial trip to Mahabaleshwar on 3rd Feb. 2019, where B.Com final year students visit the Cheese Factory. Students collected primary data for preparation of a Project as part of their academic requirements. Prof. Sayed Wajid Peerzade Head Dept of Commerce, Prof. Nazir Attar, Prof. Yasmeen Nadaf and Prof. Gous Pitali accompanied.
