Inauguration of Science Forum was held on 08-08-2017 chief guest was Dr.Mukhtar Ahemad Associate Professor, King Saudi University, Riyad, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Science Forum also wel-comed B.Sc-I Sem Students (Fresher’s).

Inaugural Function Debating Union & Gym Khana Activties

Chief Guest Dr. Sanjay Kadlimatti, Principal, BLDE’S Ayurvedic Medical College, Vijayapur, inaugurated the Debating Union and Gymkhana Activities for the year 2017-18.  In his inaugural address, Dr. Sanjay Kadlimatti highlighted importance of knowledge.  He said, in this fast progressing world, knowledge is centre of all activities.  To gain knowledge of diverse field and to provide opportunities to students to exhibit their talent, such activities under the aegis of Debating Union are essential.

Dr. Abdus Sattar, Principal of the college in his presidential address thanked the guest for sparing his time.  He appealed the students to make best use of such opportunities and take part in all the activities for disseminations of knowledge.

Dr. I.G.Ruqqia welcomed and introduced the guests.  Prof. Asjad Siddiqui, chairman, Debating Union, read out aims and objectives of the union. Kumari Alsana Jahagirdar proposed vote of thanks.

College Profile

In the historical city of Bijapur, with the able efforts of the management members of Anjuman-e-Islam, the faculty of Arts started in the year 1972. It was a humble beginning, today it is a full-fledged college having all the three faculties of Arts, Science & Commerce. It has a team of committed, painstaking, efficient lecturers, a good library, well- equipped laboratories, Computer labs with internet facility, large playground, healthy atmosphere & ever-growing students strength. Then started strength exceeds to 1500 and 75 members of staff, with a new independent building of its own and a beautiful garden.Ever since the college was founded, it is confronting and surmounting all the odds, now it is exemplary for its innovative teaching, punctuality, discipline & good administration.

The growing student’s strength, as well as good results of the college, bear the testimony of a bright future.The sole object of the college is to prepare the students mentally to march ahead along with the changing times and needs so that most productive, secular & peace-loving citizens are produced year after year from this college.
