World Environment Day 05-06-2024

On the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5th, Anjuman Arts Science and Commerce College in Vijayapur organized a meaningful celebration. The event welcomed Dr. Sirajuddin Horganimani, an esteemed Environmentalist, as the chief guest. The collaboration of various entities including the Science Forum, NSS Unit, and the Departments of Botany, Zoology & Chemistry exemplified a concerted effort towards environmental awareness and action.
The celebration commenced with the planting of trees by notable figures such as Principal Dr. M.G. Ghodesawar, IQAC Co-ordinator Dr. S. J. Jahagirdar, NSS officers Prof. M. A. Peran and Dr. Saleem Desai, alongside the enthusiastic participation of all staff members.
The event not only served as a platform for highlighting environmental concerns but also fostered a sense of responsibility and commitment towards sustainability among the college community. It is evident that such initiatives contribute significantly to the collective efforts aimed at preserving our planet for future generations.

lecture on “Career Cyber Security”

Students welfare committee has conducted a lecture on “Career Cyber Security” on 27/12/2022. Mr Tanveer Bakshi Lead Consultant Hexa Wear Company was the resource person. Prof Syed Rizwan Students welfare officer Welcome and introduced the guest speaker, Prof Wajid Peerzade IQAC coordinator delivered introductory speech and Dr A N Chatterki Principal of our college presented the presidential address. all the Students immensely benefited by the lecture. Finally Zaim Inamdar General secretary of our college proposed vote of thanks. the programme was Concluded with National Anthem.

World Heritage Week from 19th November 2022 to 25th November 2022

The Department of History and Archaeology and Heritage Club of our college has celebrated World Heritage Week from 19th November 2022 to 25th November 2022. The inauguration of World Heritage week was held on the 23rd of November 2022. The chief guest was Prof. Aslam Mujawar Retired Professor, emphasized the role of citizens in the conservation and preservation of Heritage monuments. IQAC Coordinator Prof. Sayyed Wajid Peerzade delivered a special talk on the Historical significance of Bijapur’s Cultural Heritage. Prof.Saddamhusain Mujawar, Head, Department of History delivered an introductory speech. Dr.S.J Jahageerdar welcomed and introduced the chief guest. the function was presided by Principal Dr.A.N Chattarki. Miss. Ruheena Bepari and Mehar Afsha Hosted the program. 92 Students attended the program.
